During this term we thought about ourselves. We began to think about what we like to do and how we do things, so that we could begin to develop ourselves as learners

During this term we thought about Autumn and celebrates harvest.

We collected leaves and seeds that had fallen from trees to explore, name and create our own art work.

We held a special maths morning for all our adults to attend, so they could learn how to support us at home.

During the second half of this term, we thought about the coming of Winter and the approach of Christmas. We looked at our local environment and built houses of our own.

We spent time preparing and performing our Nativity. We were excellent!

We thought about what we had achieved well last term and what we might like to get better at. We also spent time thinking about jobs we might like to do when we get older and had visits from Doctor Dave, PC Smith and a Fire Fighter.

In Reception we also spent time exploring plants and looking at growth and change.

We chitted our own potatoes and learned about the different features of plants and flowers, the names of common flowers and how we can recognise seasonal change.
