School Uniform

There is a school uniform which we like our children to wear. We feel it gives the children pride in their appearance and a sense of identity.
The following uniform has been adopted by our school:

Grey or black trousers or a skirt or a pinafore

White shirt or blouse or a navy blue polo shirt

Navy blue sweatshirt, pullover or cardigan.

Navy blue fleece

In the summer, a blue and white dress is permissible.

Children should come to school in sensible shoes, preferably black or grey.

Specifically designed sweatshirts, polo shirts, fleeces and reversible outdoor jackets with the school name and logo embroidered on the front are available.

P.E. and Games kit

Children should wear black shorts and a red polo shirt with school logo. Trainers/ pumps are required for Games lessons.

A track suit is advisable for the colder weather. When swimming forms part of the curriculum, your child will need a towel, trunks/swimsuit and swimming cap.

Jewellery

Due to Health and Safety regulations we do not encourage children to wear jewellery. Pupils with pierced ears should only wear small studs which will need to be removed when they are taking part in any P.E. activities.
