Welcome to St. Leonard's Primary School Website

‚ÄčIt is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your child to St. Leonard’s Primary School. Primary education is one of the most important experiences of a child’s life. At St. Leonard’s Primary School we aim to promote excitement, enjoyment and an enthusiasm for learning that will last throughout their life.

At St. Leonard’s Primary School every child is valued and encouraged to realise their potential within a caring and purposeful environment.

Children begin their learning journey by developing their confidence, independence and self esteem; they are encouraged to become self disciplined, responsible and highly motivated learners. Our website is designed to help you, but please do not hesitate to contact school in order that we may answer any further questions that you may have. You are most welcome to visit us and see us at work.

Children in Need

As you may already know, Monday 12th November is the start of this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal Week. Our school is excited to be joining in with others around the UK to participate in fundraising for this good cause. These fundraising events will help your children learn about the lives of disadvantaged children across the whole of the UK while developing skills like communication, teamwork and decision-making. We will be hosting a giant cake sale on Friday 16th November after school. Donations of cakes or biscuits would be very much appreciated. Please send all donations to the school office on Thursday 15th November. On Friday 16th November children are invited to wear something spotty and donate £1 per family to Children in Need. We will also be doing The Silver Coin Challenge. We would like each class to take part in this fundraising event by bringing in as many silver coins as you can and see how many times we can lap the playground We hope that you can help us make this a memorable event that raises as much money as possible by supporting the Giant cake sale and the Silver Coin Challenge at our school. Let’s make a big difference to the lives of children in the UK. Thank you for your continued support.
